What makes us different?
Experience, Experience, Experience!
Stefan Nickodem has been involved with swimming pools for over 40 years, decades before service and management companies were formed in the Triangle area. Our experience was developed in the Washington D.C. area where community pool service and management companies originated. Clearwater’s philosophy is to minimize the down time a community pool experiences, to maximize the enjoyment of the membership. We are extremely customer service oriented.
Many of the swimming pool companies in the Triangle are offshoots of other area companies and thus finite in their knowledge.
Our reputation is that of a forward thinking, innovative company. We are glad to be of assistance in providing solutions to a range of problems from simple to complicated. Clearwater employs methods and procedures not known to others in the area. Our knowledge allows us to recognize the most expedient means to solve issues, minimizing down times.
One of our greatest assets is a long term relationship with a commercial pool supply wholesaler, unknown to our competitors, with the largest in-stock inventory on the East Coast. We have immediate availability to countless parts and equipment that is simply not available locally, with standard next day delivery. This means that even the most unusual problems can typically be solved quickly using the correct parts.
For an example of an item available, we supply 16′ – 32′ commercial vacuum poles, and 1 1/2″ x 75′ commercial vacuum hoses for large pools, which expedites vacuuming.
Another example of a problem solved was when MacGregor Country Club needed a specialized filter part and availability was quoted as up to one week. It was anticipated without the part the pool would be closed. MacGregor called Clearwater, and we were able to deliver the part the next day.
Yet another example occurred at Lochmere Swim and Tennis Club. The club needed a specialized part for their pump starter box. No one was able to obtain the part, and the club was being forced to replace a $1500.00 starter box over a $100 part. We installed the part the next day with no loss of swimming.
We ask that you not just accept that the pool be closed for a long period, or that an expensive repair is necessary, without calling us first. In many cases, we can offer a faster, less costly alternative.
